Usually, the white residue happens because your concrete may be more absorbent and needed some additional scrubbing during the rinsing process to remove all the product. This can happen if you use a garden hose to rinse and do not thoroughly remove all the product which continues to work. You may consider rinsing using a pressure washer. If the white residue does not wash off your only choices are to cover it with a pot or a mat or to stain the concrete. If left alone the color will even out over time but it does take a long time – a year or longer.
White stains can also occur if you allow the product to remain on the surface too long or allow it to dry on the surface.
