Yes, you can apply our stains over the affected areas, but it is going to be challenging to mix the color stain to match the rest of the color of the driveway. Our SealGreen Color Stains are water based and do not react with the concrete like an acid stain, they work by penetrating the concrete and staining it. I suggest coloring the entire driveway with our following process:
1. Using SealGreen SG20 Tintable Sealer with Salt Defense Technology.
2. Wash the entire driveway with SealGreen Color Stain Primer for Water Based Colors
2. Allow to dry.
3. Select the stain color that you want from SealGreen Color Stains and the amount of Tintable Sealer to cover your driveway. If you email us with the dimensions of your driveway and the color selected, we can reply with a product quote for your project.
4. Apply the SealGreen SG20 mixed with color stain to the entire driveway and allow to dry.
5. At the completion of the project, you will have covered the acid stains and sealed your driveway for future protection.
