We have not tested this product, but it seems to be safe for the environment and applicator. Blue Bear 300ER Asphalt Remover.
300RE is specially formulated as 100% biodegradable and non-petroleum based and makes taking off difficult, high-oil type asphalt quick and easy. Removes modified asphalts, polymers, top coating, coal tar, dressings, sealers, and tac-coatings easily, keeping equipment and tools clean and free of build-up. It is available in quarts of gallons. (Comment according to Manufacturer).
We recommend buying a small quantity and do some testing in a small area where is not very visible before applying to the entire project. Or contact the manufacturer for more information.
