Let start with the white stains: The white stains may be a result of two things,
1. Efflorescence build-up from the water drying on top of the concrete and leaving salts. Creating white stains. If this is the case, SealGreen Efflorescence Remover may be your solution. Try a small bottle of the product to see if this is fixing the problem.
2. Sometimes when the efflorescence sits on the stamped concrete over a long time it destroys the sealer on the stamped concrete creating a white stain same color white but different from the efflorescence white stain. To test if this is the problem, we recommend to buy the SealGreen E15 Test Kit to determine if the white stain is from efflorescence or broken down sealer.
3. If the result is that the sealer is permanently damaged from the efflorescence or the sealer just broke down due to age. You will have to remove the sealer using our SealGreen SCR1600 Coating Remover.
4. Once you remove the sealer here is a diagram of how to restore the stamped concrete to make it look great. Please give us a call at 800-997-3873 to review your project.
