Yes, you can paint a treated block wall but how well it will adhere to the block depends on:
1. How porous is the block?
2. How much sealer was applied to the block?
3. What type of paint was applied?
To prevent spraying sealer on the wall we like to use a cardboard three feet long by two feet wide. We use it as a shield while spraying next to the wall.
It is not recommended to apply sealer to a floor that has been sealed with a penetrating sealer like Kennel Sealer because it will not adhere very well to the floor and with regular foot traffic will eventually peel off.
