1. 1. Cut the backer rod in half and then press into the joint to the bottom. Make sure you seal the edges with 116 caulk allow one day for it to cure and then fill the gap with 45 SSL caulk and finishing sand over the surface.
2. If the concrete slabs are not at the same level you will need to mud -jack them to make them the same level before fixing the joint.
3. The 45 SSL caulk will not even the concrete slabs
