To remove old oil stains, we recommend a two-step process:
Steps:
1. Wash the floor with SealGreen Oil Cleaner Degreaser - this will penetrate the concrete and remove any surface oil and some of the penetrated oil off the concrete.
2. Allow concrete to dry after washing.
3. Apply SealGreen Gray-Out over the shadow oil stain. Let Gray-Out remain on the concrete. The gray-Out will penetrate the concrete and eat all the oil out. This is a slow process depending on porosity, depth of penetration, and amount of oil in the concrete.
4. After you have removed all the oil we recommend sealing the concrete with SealGreen Garage Floor Concrete Sealer with Salt Defense Technology to make it easier to clean future oil stains.
