For a pool deck area, we suggest the following:
The proposed solution will color and seal the existing concrete providing a new color look and seal the concrete. The final result will be a matte finish and it will not change the surface of the concrete. So, if the concrete was not slippery before the application it will not be slippery after the treatment. This is important specially around pool decks.
The application process:
1. Treat the entire concrete surface that is going to be stained and seal, using SealGreen CSR 1600 Coating Remover. Allow to remain in place for 12 hours best time is overnight.
2. After 12 hours wash the surface with SealGreen Oil Cleaner Degreaser.
3. Once the surface has been washed and it is dry you can apply the color stain/sealer.
4. Please follow the instruction on how to mix the SealGreen Color Stain with the SealGreen Tintable Sealer. And then apply to the concrete.
5. Once the application is complete allow the concrete to dry 1 day.
6. After one day of drying the process is complete and the pool deck can be used again.
There is an application video for each product recommended here.
