We recommend the following:
Our solution does not include color, but it will provide a very durable sealed concrete floor that will not peel or scratch or urine penetration with the regular traffic and everyday cleaning. And it will require minimum maintenance for many years.
Application Process for 650 sft. concrete kennel floor:
1. You must remove all the paint of the floor. For this process we recommend using our SealGreen SCR1600 Coating remover. This will remove the paint of the floor. Once the product is applied you leave in place for 12 hours and then rinse. Watch video bellow.
2. Once the removal process is complete and the floor is dry you will need to do two applications of our SealGreen Kennel Sealer. This sealer will penetrate the concrete chemically react and seal the pores of the concrete. The application will not form any type of surface coating and will not change the look of the concrete after you have remove the old paint. If the concrete was not slippery before the application it will remain the same after the application. Watch video bellow.
3. After the sealer application wait 8-hours before returning the dogs to the kennels.
4. Depending on you traffic a light maintenance can be done every 2 to 3 years but at least every 5-years. The sealer will prevent the penetration of urine and kennel scrapes.
