The process to restore your Kennel is as follows:
1. You have to remove the existing coating using SealGreen SCR 1600. You will need 2 to 3 gallons. For 230 sft.
2. The SealGreen 1600 includes an oil degreaser that you will need to wash the floor after removal of the SealGreen 1600.
3. After this your concrete should be clean and ready to be sealed.
4. The prefer sealer for commercial and residential kennels inside or outside is the SealGreen Kennel Sealer. (You will need 1-quart of sealer to do two applications). The main reasons are because it penetrates the concrete therefore it does not peel with use. The sealer does not change the surface or look of the concrete. Is totally safe for pets and plants. And has no toxic fumes.
5. Other options if you want shine on your floor is SealGreen Poly-Shine. (You will need 2-quarts of sealer to do two applications). This is a polyurethane sealer coat the will make your floor glossy. You will also need antiskid to prevent sliding on the floor.
6. If you want color we also have SealGreen Color Stains (You will need 1-quart of color for every 250-Sft.) that can be applied prior to sealing the floor.
7. If you plan to include color please call us to go over the options available depending on the sealer that you plan to use. 800-997-3873.
