Yes it does:
1. If you are sealing using SealGreen Kennel Sealer an inside or outside kennel floor that has a BROOM FINISH (a broom finish is like a public sidewalk finish or a driveway finish) You need to apply the sealer with a Pump Sprayer (garden pump sprayer).
2. If your application is on a SMOOTH FINISH or know as a hard trowel finish (like a garage floor or a basement floor smooth finish) You need to use a mop. The reason is because a smooth concrete finish pores are microscopic. And by applying it with a mop it will help the penetration of the sealer into the floor. Smooth floors absorb less sealer than broom finish floors, and if you spray the smooth floor it will absorb as much as it can, and what it cannot absorbed it will dry on the surface creating white stains. The stains are not permanent but just create additional work that can be prevented by using the right application tool for the right concrete surface.
