Yes, our SealGreen Kennel Sealer and SealGreen Kennel Cleaner is designed to work with brushed concrete or smooth concrete (like a garage floor). The sealer has been used in zoos elephants, gorillas, ocelots’ cats, and many others), commercial kennels of many types for many types of animals or pets.
Yes SealGreen Kennel Sealer is a chemically reactive penetrating sealer.
1. Upon application it penetrates and reacts with the concrete becoming part of the concrete.
2. The sealer can be used inside or outside.
3. The re-application (we call it maintenance can be done annually or whatever frequency you prefer, or your local government rules are for kennels.
4. Frequent washing, by scrubbing or pressure washer will not remove sealer from the concrete. As long as the surface of the concrete is not destroyed the sealer will work.
5. Excessive use of the concrete floor may require light maintenance every 2 to 3 years. (our standard recommended maintenance is every 5 years). After maintenance application animals can be returned to the floor after 8 hours.
6. The maintenance application is amazingly simple (No need to remove old sealer). Just wash the floor (recommended SealGreen Kennel Cleaner), let it dry and apply more sealer. The sealer does not have any smell or strong smell (No VOCs) that can affect the animals near the area.
7. The sealer does not change the surface of the concrete therefore remains as it was before sealer application.
