Yes, the SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover will work on a natural stone. The process is as follows:
1. Mix the SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover per the instructions on the back of the container.
2. Using eye protection, a pair of plastic gloves and a sponge apply the SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover heavily to all the surfaces that you want to clean. Do not get the cleaner on metal areas. Soak as much as possible.
3. Allow it to remain overnight so it can penetrate the natural stone. Do not worry if it dries overnight.
4. The next day apply more SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover with a sponge and then rinse with a hose or pressure washer.
5. By using the sponge method, you will reduce the chances of getting cleaner on the metal areas. If you get some SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover on the metal, use a clean sponge with plain water and rinse the metal immediately. Do let the SealGreen Mold and Mildew Remover dry on the metal.
6. After the application and rinse process is complete allow it to dry for 12 hours.
7. We recommend that you seal the stone with SealGreen Brick and Stone sealer to reduce the water penetration and the development of mold and mildew in the future.
