We recommend the following solution for your driveway. Just keep in mind that this solution will not cover holes or cracks, it will only change the color of the driveway to make it all look variegated gray color, but it will not be slippery or glossy. It will have a finished matte look.
Products that will use:
SealGreen Color Stain Primer Cleaner, SealGreen SG20 Tintable Sealer and SealGreen Natural Classic Color #110.
Application Process:
1. Apply the SealGreen Color Stain Primer Cleaner to the entire surface that you are planning to stain with color.
2. Pressure wash the surface and then let it dry for a day.
3. The next step is to mix the SealGreen SG20 Tintable Sealer according to the label in the back of the bottle.
4. Once the Tintable sealer is mixed, then you must mix it with the SealGreen Color. Once the sealer and color are mixed according to instructions you will need a garden pump sprayer to apply the mixed material to the floor.
5. As you apply the color you will need immediately back roll the color on the floor to get a more even application. This step is usually done by two people one sprays the color and the other follows immediately back rolling the surface. This process continues until you complete the project.
6. Once the entire surface has been colored allow it to dry then reapply on the areas that may need more color. No need to back roll.
7. Once the project is done allow at least 8 hours before foot traffic is permitted and one day before car traffic.
