Gray-Out is a time sensitive cleaner – Upon application on a dry concrete surface the enzymes will activate, and they will slowly crawl into the microscopic pores of the concrete and start eating the oil inside the concrete.
This takes time, it could be from weeks to a year depending on the oil spilled. If this is cooking oil it will take less time to clean. We cannot tell how long. We cannot tell because we do not know the porosity of the concrete and how deep is the stain. One weeks’ time will never be enough to do the work. The customer needs to understand that the oil penetrated deeply into the concrete and washing it will never clean the oil stain. Patience is required for this cleaning job.
The reason we made the product gray is to cover the oil stain to make the concrete look good while the product is working. The solution is to apply more product lightly just enough to cover the stain over the entire surface. so, it looks good. Leave it alone and do not try to clean it to see if it is working. The powder will eventually go away as the product cleans the concrete leaving it without oil stains.
Patience little cricket....
