Gray-Out was designed to clean organic oil stains.
Synthetic Oil is not organic it is a manufacture oil fluid designed not to break down under intensive pressure and heat, therefore it is a difficult stain to clean.
They are a large variety of Synthetic Oils some are better than others. Some customers have had success cleaning Synthetic Oil with SealGreen Gray-Out, but it is a hit and miss process. They have also reported that the successful applications took a long time to clean (it could be weeks to month to years).
We at SealGreen do not offer any warranties when used to cleaning none-organic oils.
