- I am struggling a bit with the price premium of the Seal Green coatings remover.
- Can you help me understand the benefits of your product vs. Xylene or other related products? - The main difference is that our product is a remover vs. a thinner. Xylene thins the coatings but does not remove the coating. Our product removes the product entirely. This is important when stripping floors. Left over old coating may create problems later on when applying new color and sealer.
- I understand the VOC concern with xylene. Does the Seal Green product harm the grass? No, SealGreen SCR1600 Coating Remover does not affect the grass.
- Do I need to wash the deck after coating removal with the oil cleaner degreaser separately? Yes, it removes the oily base left from the coating remover.
- What do you think of using the Generac power broom with a pressure washer? There are five spray nozzles that cover an 18' width. We recommend using 3,000 Psi or less to prevent damage to the surface with Green Tip that is 25 degrees. Or use a turbo Nozzle tip.
4. Same question with the epoxy coating? Help me understand the benefits. Our SealGreen E15 Stamped Concrete Epoxy sealer was designed to allow the concrete to breathe, is UV protected for the color and the sealer, and it is a one-part component for straightforward application, No VOCs.
All our products are environmentally safe for pets, landscape, and our living environment.
