Singerman Laboratories Rust Remover for Concrete - did not let sit but still got white spots where applied what can i apply to remedy?
Did you rinse with a pressure washer or just a garden hose?
- One of the things that the rust remover does, it cleans the concrete very well. If your concrete has not been in a while when you clean a rust stain it will leave a clean spot where treated (not a White spot). The good news is that it will get dirty over time, and it will eventually look like the rest of the concrete.
- Some customers apply the Rust remover to the entire section to avoid leaving clean spots.
- If you have a very white spot like a sheet of white paper. It is because the remover was too long in place, and it bleached the concrete from its normal color. Unfortunately, there is no way to correct this. This usually may happen after 45 plus minutes in place before rinsing. The only solution is to color stain the entire surface to cover the permanent white stains.
- Notice the difference in concrete color between the treated area and the none treated area. The treated area is what the concrete looks like after a thorough cleaning.
