1. 1. Evaluate your concrete for absorption – Spill some water on the concrete and then wipe after a minute. if it gets dark immediately and stays dark your concrete is not coated with anything. This type of floor is ready for a penetrating sealer. If the water beads on the surface and there is no color change your floor is coated with something and it will need to be grind.
2. For all floors that are going to be coated with a surface coating they all should be grinded for better results.
