Is the coverage rate 200 square foot SealGreen Kennel Sealer based on 4"x10'x20' pad or does the thickness matter?
Thickness does not matter, the average of 200 Sqft per gallon is based on absorption of the average concrete.
I am pouring concrete pads for individual kennels which will be exposed outdoors and will be roughly 4"x3'X6' and in the description it says that a pint will cover 200 square feet does the thickness make a difference?
Thickness does not matter, the average of 200 Sqft per gallon is based on absorption of the average concrete.
Can the sealer be mixed for this small of an application or does the whole pint have to be mixed up?
It is best to mix the entire pint according to the instructions on the back of the bottle. Once you mix the sealer with water it will be good for 12 months.
What is the shelf life of the sealer?
In concentrate 12 month. Once mixed with water is 12 months.
There also will not be any foot traffic only the 4 legs of the kennels sitting on top of the pad, How long should the sealer last in this application and how often do you recommend it being washed?
Once the sealer is applied according to the instructions it has a life of 20 years. We recommend a maintenance treatment every 4 to 5 years. This is because the as the surface of the concrete wear out it will out the sealer. The sealer5 is in the concrete not on the surface.
How often should be washed?
Is up to you. You may consider also using SealGreen Kennel Cleaner and SealGreen Disinfectant Lemon 64.
